These large-sized, bulky brown-coloured owls get their name because they mainly feed on fish. However, they also feed on small terrestrial animals such as rodents and reptiles. It is one of the largest owls found in Kabini and is both solitary and territorial.

Tiger

Inside the reserve, some tourism-related works are taking place. At one such spot, where they were excavating a water hole, a massive tiger suddenly appeared. It walked in front of the vehicle marking its territory before disappearing into the bushes. It was an overwhelming moment for our guests.
