Osprey

We got a lovely view of an Osprey during the boat safari today. It was seen perched on one of the submerged tree trunks. Ospreys are excellent anglers and have a high success rate. Studies show that Ospreys caught fish at least once every four dives, with success rates sometimes as high as 70 per cent.

Malabar Giant Squirrel

A Malabar or Indian Giant Squirrel gave our guests a fine display of acrobatics during the vehicle safari. It is one of the most colourful mammals in Kabini and can give a professional acrobat a run for his money.

The gorgeous Tiger Tank female put on a fine display for our guests. She practically ‘walked the ramp’ as our guests had a field day, taking photographs to their heart’s delight.
