Gray Langur
Sighted on: 12.May.2024

Our guests were able to observe some interesting natural history behaviour during the vehicle safari this morning. We chanced upon a troop of langurs just as a male displayed dominance over another. This was a mixed-sex group comprising both males and females. In such groups, there is a dominant male who fathers all or most of the young and whose dominance is often challenged by other males. The male, a really large one, went and sat on a bund after successfully defending his position in the troop.

Leopard
Sighted on: 14.May.2024

We got lucky during the evening vehicle safari. A large male leopard was spotted resting on a tree. It was an overcast day, and while we were admiring the leopard, the skies opened up, and the rain came down in torrents—a wet but magical evening.
