Winter in Kabini heralds the return of numerous species of spiders. We witnessed a breathtaking hunting spectacle during the Nature Walk this winter morning. A Black Wood Spider, one of the larger spider species found in Kabini, had successfully captured a stunning meal to sustain itself - an Evening Brown butterfly.

Elephants
Sighted on: 5.October.2023

The weather in Kabini has become quite erratic, with late monsoon showers introducing a significant element of unpredictability into our daily experiences. During today's evening boat safari, we got to observe a group of elephants on the riverbanks. They were peacefully grazing on the grass, accompanied by their calves, and we were able to spend a significant amount of time watching them. Photo buffs were especially elated at the opportunity to create some stunning backlit images.
